Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) Skills Platform
In the Highways industry, local authorities found it difficult to identify and book training and development courses to upskill their staff. LCRIG, the leading facilitator of links between central and local government in the Highways sector, identified the opportunity to provide a solution to this problem.
We worked with LCRIG on the strategy and content, designed, developed and built a bespoke and easy-to-use Skills and Training platform for members. The platform contained individual, team manager and training provider dashboards, the ability for users to log and download CPD (Continuing Professional Development) data, add their historical training and store certificates. Search and filter facilities for courses were integrated, along with preferences for auto population of recommendations for next steps. Courses could be booked and paid for online. The platform has been incredibly successful in providing a solution to the issue and enabling LCRIG to add value to the services they offer their members.
